The Municipality of Erdemli, together with the Archery Federation and the School Sports Federation, held an Archery Championship between Turkish schoolchildren. The competition lasted 4 days and ended with a solemn ceremony of awarding the winners. A total of 770 schoolchildren from 66 provinces of Turkey took part in the championship.
The archery range where the championship was held is the largest in Europe. Young athletes and spectators left the most positive feedback about the championship.

Turkey s state-owned energy company Botas has signed a new long-term contract with France s TotalEnergies for the supply of 16 cargoes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) per year. Turkey's Finance Ministry to Reveal Names of Major Tax Debtors
Finance and Treasury Minister Mehmet Simsek said the names of taxpayers with tax arrears and fines of 5 million lira or more will be made public. Those who do not want to be on the list of "tax debtors" will have to pay off their debts by the end of September 2024. Taxpayers from earthquake-hit areas will be excluded from the measure.
