The Toroslar Municipality of Mersin is holding the "European Movement Week" from September 16 to 22. The aim of the event is to increase the public's interest in practicing sports, walking, cycling and swimming. The program prepared during the week will include group hikes, morning sports activities, swimming competitions, bicycle rides and a bicycle race. On Friday, September 22, roads in the Chavushlu Mahallesi area will be closed to vehicular traffic as part of the "Car Free Day" campaign.

Turkey's Finance Ministry to Reveal Names of Major Tax Debtors
Finance and Treasury Minister Mehmet Simsek said the names of taxpayers with tax arrears and fines of 5 million lira or more will be made public. Those who do not want to be on the list of "tax debtors" will have to pay off their debts by the end of September 2024. Taxpayers from earthquake-hit areas will be excluded from the measure.
