On October 27, 28 and 29, the Bosphorus Bridge will be closed to traffic in both directions at the following time slots due to celebrations marking the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey:
October 27, Friday - from 22:00 to 07:00 (night from Fri to Sat)
October 28, Saturday - from 22:00 to 07:00 (night from Sat to Sun)
October 29, Sunday - from 16:00 to 00:00.
Be careful! Plan your route in advance taking into account the above.

Turkey s state-owned energy company Botas has signed a new long-term contract with France s TotalEnergies for the supply of 16 cargoes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) per year. Turkey's Finance Ministry to Reveal Names of Major Tax Debtors
Finance and Treasury Minister Mehmet Simsek said the names of taxpayers with tax arrears and fines of 5 million lira or more will be made public. Those who do not want to be on the list of "tax debtors" will have to pay off their debts by the end of September 2024. Taxpayers from earthquake-hit areas will be excluded from the measure.
