The 6th PSM Awards were held in Istanbul

The PSM Awards is an annual award that identifies FinTech and e-commerce market leaders. PSM Co-founder and General Coordinator Barysh Bekar: "Over the 6 years of the award's existence, thousands of applications have been submitted and 300 projects have been awarded. The number of applications and interesting projects is growing every year. This year we broke the record: 493 applications were submitted for participation in the award and 70 projects received awards!"

The electronic money and payment services platform Payfix was awarded a special award for its contribution to the employment of women and the Golden PSM award in the nomination "Innovative Customer Interaction". Payfix employs 176 women, which is 93% of the total number of employees.

Turkey's Finance Ministry to Reveal Names of Major Tax Debtors

Finance and Treasury Minister Mehmet Simsek said the names of taxpayers with tax arrears and fines of 5 million lira or more will be made public. Those who do not want to be on the list of "tax debtors" will have to pay off their debts by the end of September 2024. Taxpayers from earthquake-hit areas will be excluded from the measure.
