Istanbul Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu announced the launch of a free human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination program. Istanbul residents between the ages of 9 and 26 can now get this vaccination free of charge. The usual insurance policy does not cover vaccination about HPV, which is not included in the free vaccination calendar of Turkey. Between there that the cost of a 3-phase HPV vaccination to date is 11,402 lire ($353).
