Mehmet Sheriff Gyun, who works as a janitor in the Bakyrkyy district of Istanbul, found a bag full of money. Mehmet went to the police station and handed the bag over to the police. Police reported that the bag contained about 100,000 lire of foreign currency and 16 checks worth 4 million 713,000. The money was returned to the owner, who in turn thanked the janitor by giving him $100.

Mehmet Sheriff Gyun: "It’s a sin to take other people’s money. This is how our parents taught us. Even when I was in need, I never had the thought of taking something that wasn’t mine. When I found the bag, I decided to deliver it to the owner as soon as possible, because this situation can happen to everyone".
