Istanbul: Public transport and taxi costs increased

At the July meeting of the Coordination Transport Centre of Istanbul City Hall (UKOME), a decision was taken to increase fares for public transport in the province. 

       New tariffs

Public transport:
full ticket - 20 liras
Student - 9.76 liras
Teachers - 14.31 lire
Monthly student - 282.5 lire
Teachers per month - 569 liras

Metrobus:
full rate - 29.68 liras

Marmaray: 
full ticket 46.94 liras

Taxi:
taxi fare: 100 lire
opening of the counter at 30 lire

Minibus:
full rate - 18 - 22.50 liras depending on the distance
student fee - 12 liras

Maritime transport:
Uskudar - Eminönü - 25.33 lire
Kadykya-Eminyong - 28.23 lire
Kadykya-Beşiktaş - 28.23 lire
Bonzanj Adalar - 74.41 lire

Sea taxi:
Landing and first mile - 420 lire
Transport within 1-4 miles - 310 lire
Transport fee for 4-8 miles - 250 liras
The cost of transport within 8-16 miles is 200 lire.

Buses on the Sabiha Gökçen airport line:

Sabiha Gecké - Kadyköy airport - 130 lire
Sabiha Gecké Airport - Taksim - 210 lire

The new tariffs will be effective from 29 July.
