enInterest-free loans will be given to newlyweds in Turkey

According to a program developed by the government, newlyweds in Turkey will be given an interest-free 5-year loan of 150,000 liras with a deferred repayment for 2 years. It is reported that the program will operate on a permanent basis and the amount of the loan, which can be taken by newlyweds, will be indexed to the current inflation rate.

Turkey's Finance Ministry to Reveal Names of Major Tax Debtors
Finance and Treasury Minister Mehmet Simsek said the names of taxpayers with tax arrears and fines of 5 million lira or more will be made public. Those who do not want to be on the list of "tax debtors" will have to pay off their debts by the end of September 2024. Taxpayers from earthquake-hit areas will be excluded from the measure.
