Selcuk Yildiz, a candidate from the Yeniden Refah party, won the municipal elections on March 31 and became the new mayor of the city of Geive in Sakarya province. Upon taking up his duties, Yildiz announced the decision to sell a Mercedes car owned by the municipality: "Before the elections, we made a promise to our citizens that we would end waste, so we started saving the municipality's money at the expense of expensive official cars."

Antalya breaks records for the number of tourists in 2024

The construction of the state hospital in Pajallar is in full swing

The Director of Health of Alanya, Nadir Aldemir, together with other officials, inspected the construction of a new public hospital in the Payallar district. During the inspection, the delegation received information about the progress of construction and the degree of readiness of the hospital building. The public hospital in Pajallar will meet the A2 level. The hospital has 200 beds, 25 intensive care beds, 10 palliative beds, 7 operating rooms, 67 polyclinic rooms, 5 emergency rooms, endoscopy and bronchoscopy departments, a burn department, an outpatient chemotherapy department for 15 people, a sleep laboratory and a diabetes center. With the completion of construction, healthcare in Alanya will become more comprehensive and efficient. "Our new hospital will provide the most modern medical services for our region. This investment will make a significant contribution to strengthening the city's healthcare infrastructure," Aldemir said.

Thailand plans to build the world's tallest skyscraper

Thai Prime Minister Settha Thawisin announced plans to build the world's tallest skyscraper in Bangkok.
