enImportant changes in the issue of obtaining Turkish citizenship

As of today, the Regulation, according to which a foreign citizen can no longer apply for Turkish citizenship when buying a plot of land worth 400 thousand dollars. In order to obtain citizenship on the land plot there must be a building (building, condominium, etc.). The purpose of the innovation is to increase the number of sales of residential real estate, as sales of land plots already have high rates.
Thus, from 12.12.2023, it will be possible to obtain Turkish citizenship only by purchasing residential or commercial real estate.

Turkey's Finance Ministry to Reveal Names of Major Tax Debtors
Finance and Treasury Minister Mehmet Simsek said the names of taxpayers with tax arrears and fines of 5 million lira or more will be made public.
