Citizens of 169 countries, including Russia and all other CIS countries, have the right to enter Indonesia for up to 30 days without a visa (Visa Exemption).
You do not need to apply for a visa in advance to travel to Bali. It is issued upon arrival on the island. Visa on arrival - VoA (Visa on Arrival) entitles you to a 30-day stay in Bali. After a month, it can be extended for another 30 days at the migration service or using the services of intermediary firms. To extend the VoA after 60 days, you need to make a "visa", i.e. leave the island for at least a day.

Tourists who want to save time can apply for a Visa on Arrival online on the portal of the Indonesian Immigration Service https://molina.imigrasi.go.id/front/register . Consulates of some countries also provide a service for pre-registration of a tourist visa.
Important! The penalty for exceeding the validity period of the visa leaves about $ 60 for each day of delay. If the delay exceeds 60 days, the violator is deported and banned from entry for a period of six months or more.
