Northern Cyprus Wines win prestigious awards IWC 2023

Etel Winery wines from Northern Cyprus have been awarded prestigious medals at the International Wine Challenge 2023 in London.
From the thousands of wines that participated in the International Wine Challenge 2023, Etel Primus 2017 and Primus 2018 were selected as winners by an expert jury.
Winemaker Lyn Gold, owner of Gillham Vineyard proudly stated, "This award is an achievement not only for me, but
Northern Cyprus as it brings us to an international level in the field of winemaking!"

Turkey's Finance Ministry to Reveal Names of Major Tax Debtors

Finance and Treasury Minister Mehmet Simsek said the names of taxpayers with tax arrears and fines of 5 million lira or more will be made public. Those who do not want to be on the list of "tax debtors" will have to pay off their debts by the end of September 2024. Taxpayers from earthquake-hit areas will be excluded from the measure.
