Volunteers working in the UAE can expect to receive a "golden visa"

According to the UAE Federal Office for Identification, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security, the right to receive a "golden visa" are:

- employees of international and regional volunteer organizations who have worked for at least 5 years
- members of socially useful associations and institutions who have worked for at least 5 years
- holders of commendation awards from one of the local, regional or international institutions involved in humanitarian activities
- outstanding volunteers who have worked at least 500 hours for 5 years
- patrons who have invested over 2 million AED in humanitarian activities
