Banning the use of electric scooters in Alanya has failed

At the September meeting of the Alanya Municipal Assembly, Fikret Arık of IYI Parti raised the issue of electric scooters, which cause problems in Alanya's traffic and are the subject of numerous complaints. Responding to Fikret Arık, the Mayor of Alanya said: "I support your initiative regarding the ban on the use of electric scooters on Alanya's roads. However, the Transportation Coordination Center (UKAME) under the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality did not support this proposal. We, as Alanya Municipality, objected, but we were unable to achieve a result and have to comply with the higher decision."
