Grants totaling 631 thousand 275 liras were awarded to women's cooperatives in Mersin

Mersin Governor Ali Hamza Pehlivan announced that grants totaling 631 thousand 275 liras have been signed with women's cooperatives in the first 6 months of 2023. As part of the "Supporting Women's Cooperatives" program, the governor visited the Mersin Trade Office where he held a meeting with women entrepreneurs.
"There are 194 cooperatives in our province, 19 of which are women's cooperatives. We hope to further increase the number of women entrepreneurs and are always happy to support them," said A.H. Pehlivan.

Turkey's Finance Ministry to Reveal Names of Major Tax Debtors
Finance and Treasury Minister Mehmet Simsek said the names of taxpayers with tax arrears and fines of 5 million lira or more will be made public. Those who do not want to be on the list of "tax debtors" will have to pay off their debts by the end of September 2024. Taxpayers from earthquake-hit areas will be excluded from the measure.
