Attention: a new type of fraud in Turkey
With the beginning of the tourist season in Turkey, the demand for apartment rentals is traditionally growing. Unfortunately, scammers began to use this. On a popular real estate portal, they published ads for rental housing at low prices. They persistently offered interested people to make a deposit by transferring money to an account so as not to miss such an attractive offer, and many, sadly enough, agreed and transferred money without any documentary evidence. The police have opened a fraud case and are investigating. ❗ Be careful! Do not transfer money without signing a contract!
