Employees of the Middle East Technical University of Northern Cyprus (METU) have developed a tracking system for sea turtles that lay eggs on the beaches of the island. Drones equipped with artificial intelligence will scan the coast and warn volunteers about turtles that have come ashore to lay eggs.
