The Eurasian plate pushes the Arabian Plate south along the East Anatolian Fault. The Turkish Ministry of Commerce issued a warning to companies and sellers who set inflated prices for essential goods after the earthquake. The statement says that the most severe fines and penalties will be applied to such companies.
