Passenger numbers at Ercan Airport in Northern Cyprus increased by 32% in 2023

UAE's extraordinary new tourism projects

The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has unveiled two tourism projects related to the construction of a hydroelectric power plant at the 25th Dubai Expo. The first project, Sustainable Hatta Waterfalls, is a renewable energy source and eco-friendly oasis. Four zones will be created within the hydropower plant area, connected by bridges crossing a water channel and ending in a full-fledged lake with a corresponding natural aquatic environment. The waterfalls project, designed in the shape of a hexagonal beehive, will include an 80x30 meter mural depicting the late Sheikhs Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the founding fathers of the UAE.

The Amasya Provincial Directorate of Agriculture raised sturgeon fry and released 11,000 fry into the waters of the Black Sea covering the area from Sakarya to Samsun once they reached a sufficient size. Sturgeon is a product with very high added value, as it is the fish from which black caviar is produced. Our specialized General Directorate continues to work with these fish species both within the balance of conservation of the species and to increase the fishery".

Turkey and Russia aim to increase trade turnover to $100 billion
