Improving Road Safety in Mahmutlar: Pedestrian Buttons and Solar Lights
As part of a program to improve road infrastructure in Mahmutlar, pedestrian buttons to activate traffic signals have been installed at busy intersections. The initiative aims to ensure pedestrian safety and make crossing the busy D400 highway easier. It is not yet known if the buttons will be installed at all of the city's traffic signals, but even a partial installation is a meaningful step toward improving safety on neighborhood roads.

Turkey raises minimum wage for second time in six months
According to Turkey's Labor Minister, the minimum wage will increase by 34% to 11,402 lira ($483) starting July 1. The decision will allow more than a third of workers to earn a decent minimum wage. New youth sports center in Mersin in Akdeniz district
