Real estate sales statistics in Turkey for September 2023
According to the Ministry of Environment, Urban Development and Climate Change, more than 280 thousand sales transactions were made in September. Of these, 100 thousand transactions were for apartments and villas, 49 thousand for building plots, 95 thousand for agricultural land, and the rest were transactions for office and commercial premises. 4.8 billion liras in taxes were collected.

Mersin farmers held a protest over cheap lemon prices
Mersin's lemon farmers held a protest in the city park under the slogan "We are being squeezed like lemons". The reason for the protest: the purchase price of lemons does not match the cost of production. "We are asking for support from the President and the Minister of Agriculture. We cannot sell what we produce. We are forced to sell lemons for 1 lira per kilogram, while in the bazaars they are sold for 15-20 lira per kilogram. We can't even buy a loaf of bread with the proceeds," the farmers are indignant.

Tropical Fruit Festival in Gazipasa

Alanians are offered to receive 1 liter of vegetable oil in exchange for 5 liters of waste oil

The Turkish government has issued a decree according to which those phones that have not been used for one year will be blocked starting from January 1, 2024. Alanya's historic mansion Hacı Karanfil has received an award from the Union of Historic Towns of Turkey
Built in the late 19th century (1899-1900) and restored by the Municipality of Alanya, the historic mansion Hacı Karanfil has been awarded for the second time in the competition "Encouragement of projects for the protection of the country's historical and cultural heritage".
