Unusual products of Turkey: Menengiç Kahvesi

Menengic is a fruit of terpentine tree (Pistacia terebinthus), popularly called "wild pistachio". They are used as a coffee substitute that does not contain caffeine. In stores it is sold as a hammer or as a paste. In Aktar (spice shops in Turkey) you can buy raw meningich - hard grains of dark green (salt and unfinished). However, self-processing of grain is quite a laborious process, so it is easier to buy them already in the ready form. The oil of this plant is medicinal and has many uses. It is useful for skin and hair problems. Good for wounds and rashes, including acne. Menengic also boils soap (bıttım sabunu), which is used to improve hair growth and for dermatological problems. They make bubble gum out of wood resin. Menengi gum eliminates bad breath, has antiseptic properties and is useful for upper respiratory tract diseases. The most popular method of application of menengic is the preparation of "menengich coffee". The fruits are dried, roasted, ground and cooked similarly to coffee. Often "menengich coffee" is cooked with milk. Sugar is added at will. It tastes remotely like coffee and has a nutty, slightly oily taste. The drink is rich in vitamin E, unsaturated fatty acids, iron, magnesium and promotes the digestive process, has diuretic action. Lowers the level of bad cholesterol, thus reducing the risk of developing cardiovascular diseases. Menengi Kahvesi is nice to drink during a cold, as it reduces cough and relieves symptoms of the disease. Contraindications are individual intolerance.

In a number of departments (MoI, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health) there are still a number of advantages: early retirement, various allowances, compensation, etc. However, to get a public position in Turkey is not so easy. The examination for those with secondary education and those with higher education is different. The KPSS consists of two stages, each with 60 questions.
