According to the latest forecasts, the whole country will be under the influence of a cold cyclone in the coming days. In Ankara, the air temperature is predicted to drop to -21 . Snowfall is expected not only in Istanbul, but even in Adana and Antalya! An innovation in the field of rent: an electronic lease agreement

In the near future, it is expected to introduce a system based on the e-devlet platform, where the landlord and the tenant will conclude an electronic lease agreement e-kontrat between themselves. The purpose of the program is to reduce the number of disputes between the parties and increase market transparency in terms of rental prices for real estate in a particular area. It will also be possible to issue counters online in the name of the new tenant. Emrah Gerek, real estate expert: "Since the contracts will be registered in the e-devlet, they will be easier to verify. Thus, all market participants will have the opportunity to compare rental prices in their chosen area. Contracts concluded before the entry into force of this decree will also be gradually incorporated into this system. By the end of 2024, all contracts will be officially digitized."

Who is mukhtar in Turkey?

Mukhtar (Arabic: مختار elect) is a municipal employee in Turkey, the headman or the head of the district. The position of mukhtar has been known since the time of the Ottoman Empire, where it was introduced in the middle of the XIX century. Mukhtars were elected by the population or appointed by the current authorities. Citizens can contact mukhtar on absolutely all issues of interest to them. Mukhtars are engaged in the distribution of social assistance among the poor residents of their district, organizational issues in various election campaigns, organization of the elections themselves, issues of road repair and cleaning in the area, and many others. Often, residents come to Mukhtar's office not even with any specific request, but simply to "chat for life", drink 3-4 cups of hot tea, complain about prices or even relatives, i.e. Mukhtar partly performs the function of a psychologist:) In Turkey, there is even a holiday "Mukhtar's Day", which is celebrated annually on October 19th.
