Turkey's mushroom growers report high yields this year
Turkey's forests are giving mushroom pickers a good harvest this season. Mushroom pickers collect 10 to 30 kilograms of mushrooms per day and sell the products to exporting companies at a price of 120 to 150 liras per kilogram. They, in turn, send the mushrooms to European countries, especially Italy and Spain.

The Viking ship "Saga Farmann" will be on display in Istanbul until the end of October
Istanbul residents and guests have a unique opportunity to visit the famous Rahmi M. Ko Industrial Museum, where the Saga Farmann, an exact replica of the Viking cargo sailing ship Klastad, will be on display until the end of October. Saga Farmann, which set sail from Tonsberg, Norway, in April this year, traveled 3,500 kilometers through more than 100 canals and arrived in Istanbul in August. The 20-meter-long ship will soon be put under repair at the City Lines Hali shipyard and will sail to the Mediterranean upon completion.

Turkish government to pay 75 million liras to farmers under agriculture support program

According to the new rules for obtaining a residence permit on tapu must be cadastral value of real estate, specified in the tapu, should not be less than 200.000 dollars. In this case, the value of several properties are not summarized. To foreigners who bought real estate in the period from 26.04.2022 to 16.10.2023, the new rules do not apply and they will receive / extend residence permit under the old rules.
