Fishing season opened in Turkey

67 districts in Turkey claim to be provinces
The president of the Antalya branch of the Chamber of Cartographers and Cadastral Engineers, Okan Hancher, said that during the latest survey it was found that 67 districts with a population of more than 100,000 people and a distance of at least 30 kilometers from the city center have the potential to become independent provinces. According to Hancher, districts such as Siverek, Viransehir, Alanya, Manavgat, Torbalı, Silivri and Çorlu have the best chance of becoming provinces.

Good news for cyclists
A new bicycle path has been completed in Alanya and now everyone can use it. The 2m 40cm wide path runs along the Konaklı, T rkler and Payallar promenades. There are also gazebos with benches, fitness equipment and playgrounds for children. As of today, the total length of landscaped bicycle paths in Turkey is 1650 kilometers. Turkey attracted a huge number of tourists in 2023

Turkey and the United States hold large-scale joint military exercises
