A 74-year-old Turkish athlete dedicated his victory to the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey

Ali Bidi, a 74-year-old businessman and national athlete from Antalya, was the winner in his age group in a triathlon competition held in Belek. "Ironman 70.3 Turkey Races" is one of the most prestigious triathlon organizations in the world. About 2 thousand athletes from 86 countries took part in the races, which started from the public beach of Kadriye. The triathletes covered a total distance of 111.9 kilometers. The athletes started the race with a swim and then cycled from Belek to the EXPO 2016 grounds. The distance ended with a running stage in the Land of Legends.
